There is a prodigious issue regarding our underrepresented minority students (those in elementary, high school, and even college alike) not realizing that they are good enough to go toe-to-toe with their white counterparts, and receive the same job offers. These students do not realize that if they push themselves past their limit, they have the ability to offer the same, if not better, skills to employers.
However, the question that remains is: How exactly do we get these students to realize their potential before it is too late?
