Let’s talk perception for a moment.
Perception is ultimately the way you understand and interpret what’s around you. It’s your viewpoint, and whether or not you perceive something as positive or negative. Every single day is engulfed with a number of experiences, and it’s ultimately up to you how you allow those experiences to affect your emotions.
Happiness begins in the mind.
When you nurture your mental stability and become conscious of how you react to situations, your mood shifts drastically. You become agile and realize that although you cannot control what happens to you, you can control how you react to the situation.
A simple, yet powerful mantra I’ve created for myself is
“Perceive and project”.
I know that what I think about and the topics I allow to consume my mental, can manifest themselves to be true. If I perceive myself as having a bad day, I then project those negative emotions onto others. However, if I perceive happiness, success, and love — those are then positive emotions that I project onto others and myself.
Let’s work on cleansing our mental through perceiving more positive thoughts, because it is only through perception that you manifest your own opportunity.
